A single square inch of Gore-Tex®
membrane contains 9 billion microscopic
pores - each 20 times smaller than a raindrop but 700 times
larger than a molecule of water vapor - so while water can't
pass through the fabric, a horses perspiration can. |

SympaTex®
Fabric
SympaTex®
is a lightweight, ultra-thin, non-porous
polyester membrane that is laminated between the lining and
the outer material. The result is a totally waterproof,
totally windproof, and highly breathable fabric.
The unique non-porous construction creates an absolute
wall against wetness. And through the wonders of physics and
chemistry, that same impenetrable water barrier actually
transports perspiration, so your horse's body can breathe too.
